The rise in the use of digital technologies in business activities brings up significant issues about corporate cyberlaw. Also in the specific field of the so-called technological risks of business, legal informatics and IT jurist’s methodological approach can enable a broader examination of the complexity associated with new technologies, while facilitating the adequacy of corporate structures. After a brief period following the final approval of the AI Act, this paper intends to deepen these relevant issues regarding Corptech governance, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence systems and highlighting data protection and cybersecurity concerns, along with the impact on corporate structures. This paper also aims to emphasise the need to overcome the formalistic approach sometimes arising in the context of regulatory compliance, paving the way for an unpostponable focus on Corporate Digital Responsibility.
