The article describes a research carried out in the context of administrative procedures on immigration with the aim of favoring the right of access to regulatory and administrative information for all citizens. The goal of the research was to derive recommendations and guidelines to facilitate online communication of information on procedures and make it more suitable for today’s intercultural societies. The work also led to hypothesize the use of collaboration platforms that can support civil servants in administrative communication via public portals. The operational activity of the research, which was conducted through an experimentation on the PAeSI web portal of the Tuscany Region, a thematic portal on immigration procedures and rules, is contextualized through a reflection on the relationship between inclusion, e-government and communication methods of the public administration and it has used a collaborative methodology that involved the domain stakeholders.
